About the event
Nomika are debuting Full of Wine live at their The Bearded Lady gig on the 15th of April. They’ll also be playing songs from their forthcoming E.P, scheduled for release mid-year.
Full of Wine is a plea to a prospective lover to follow feeling over reason; reveling in that tipsy state when anything seems possible. Nomika dig into their progressive jazz background, combining influences of Snarky Puppy, Vulfpeck and a hint of King Gizzard; it’s jazz harmony meets heavy-hitting, catchy hooks.
This 9-piece band made the most of the year that was 2020, remotely recording and mixing this single during intermittent lockdowns and state border quarantines.
Joining Nomika for a cheeky mid-week set is the inimitable Franky Smart, who will be playing some amazing original tunes from their upcoming E.P and choice covers to finish off your Thursday :)
