Come celebrate the release of the latest single from Brisbane powerhouse Nomika at Doo-Bop’s Gatsby Room, on Friday the 20th of March.
Heart Work is an energy-pumping, 80’s-rock inspired tribute to the downtrodden folks finding themselves doing all the emotional labour. It is a call-to-action driven by juddering bass and slathered in woodwinds and brass.
Nomika is a Brisbane 10-piece band featuring award-winning vocalist Megan Crocombe, two backing vocalists and a lush 4-piece horn section. Nomika’s cool, dark vibes are influenced by the likes of Hiatus Kaiyote, Vulfpeck and Snarky Puppy.
Supporting Nomika is Dan Wolsner’s Soulergy.
Tickets will be $15 on the night. Doors at 7:30 pm
